Metriclab API
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Metriclab API is a privately operated reporting and automation tool. This policy covers its Google API integrations and the information website at metriclab.click. The operator can be contacted at [email protected].
1. Data accessed
- Google Ads: account and campaign identifiers, names, settings relevant to reporting, and performance metrics such as dates, impressions, clicks, spend and attributed conversions.
- Google Sheets: spreadsheet identifiers, titles, cell values, formulas and formatting needed to read, create or update requested reports.
- Google Slides: presentation identifiers, slide content and layout needed to create or edit requested presentations.
- Google Drive: metadata and permitted file contents needed to organize project files. The current Drive permission is limited to files created by, or explicitly authorized for, the application; it does not provide general access to all Drive files.
- Authorization credentials: OAuth client configuration, access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain authorized access. Google handles account sign-in; Metriclab API does not request or store your Google password.
2. Purpose and permissions
Data is used to retrieve advertising statistics, calculate reporting metrics, create and edit authorized spreadsheets and presentations, organize related files and answer user-directed analytical questions. The application requests Google Ads, Sheets, Slides and app-specific Drive permissions. Actual access is also limited by the connected user's own account and file permissions.
The current reporting workflow reads Google Ads data and does not modify advertising campaigns. Sheets, Slides and Drive permissions permit changes necessary for user-requested work.
3. Storage and security
The current integration runs locally on the operator's computer. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in local configuration files with restricted file permissions and are excluded from source-control uploads. Working data and reports may be stored locally and in the authorized user's Google Drive, Sheets or Slides.
The public website contains information pages only. It does not host the OAuth token store or accept uploads of advertising data or documents. Connections to Google APIs use HTTPS.
4. Sharing and AI-assisted processing
Metriclab API does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Google receives the API requests required to provide the selected services.
When the user requests analysis or report creation through an AI assistant, relevant data or excerpts may be processed by that assistant's provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, to complete the requested task. This processing is subject to the provider's applicable terms and account settings. OAuth credentials are not intentionally included in prompts or reports. Data is not intentionally sent to AI providers for tasks unrelated to the user's request.
The operator does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Google user data is otherwise disclosed only as necessary to fulfill the user's instructions, meet legal obligations or protect the security of the service.
5. Retention and deletion
Local authorization tokens are retained while the connection is in use. Working data is retained as needed for requested reporting and historical comparisons, until removed by the operator or at the user's request. Reports in Google services remain subject to their owners' retention and sharing choices. AI-provider copies are governed by the relevant provider's retention settings and terms.
To stop future access, remove Metriclab API from your Google Account's third-party connections. Revocation does not automatically delete existing reports or exported files. To request deletion of operator-held data or tokens, email [email protected]. Users may also delete files they own directly in Google Drive.
6. Website visits and support emails
The website has no advertising, analytics scripts or sign-up forms. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and technical security logs to serve and protect the site. Support emails are processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and the destination mailbox provider for forwarding and responding to requests.
7. Google API Limited Use
Metriclab API's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
